I had the absolute pleasure of studying under Elmer Taylor and Jerry Austin at the University of North Texas. I was hired as the Ceramics Lab Technician following graduation and had the opportunity to work with them for 3 more years.

It was an honor to assist Don Reitz at his ranch in Clarkdale, Arizona.

Mike Weber's 3 Week Woodfire Workshop in Herbster, Wisconsin.

The UNT Grad students had an exhibition at 18 Hands Gallery in Houston, Texas and we took a road trip to be there for the opening.

I fired the wood soda kiln with Don Reitz to get ready for my MFA exhibition back in Texas.
